I'm a sucker when it comes to games that were released in the late 90s / early 00s. It was a period when developers were experimenting with (back then) revolutionary 3D graphics and gameplay concepts the world had never seen. As a result, a lot of PC classics that people play to this day originate from this so-called golden age of gaming.
That's why I'm more than happy to share the news that you can currently get Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee for free on Humble Bundle. If you had a PC back in the 90s or you consider yourself a hardcore gamer, you're most likely familiar with this charming - and amazingly difficult - puzzle platformer. And even though its regular Steam price is anything but expensive, it's still nice to get a chance to claim a digital copy for free.
If you still have no idea what I'm talking about, check out this gameplay video to get a sense of Abe's Oddysee. It may look overly silly at times - especially if you've never seen the game in action - but don't let that fool you; It's "branded" a PC gaming classic for a reason!
