Maybe the best mouse i've used,as a CSGO player.
It feels like a smaller MS IE 3.0 but less bulky.
It's designed to easily disassemble,so i can remove sth i don't use(such as side button&wheel).
I changed it to D2F-F-3-7 switch to get better response.
If the coating can be more rough like corsair harpoon, it may be more friendly to hand sweat.
I'm eager for the wireless edition,as some brands have offer the 3399 engine mouse to get the lightweight effect, but their ergonomics are disappointed.A wireless Model D maybe the perfect mouse to me and many customers.
So i ordered the mouse from a german retailer, bs i live in germany.
The mouse felt amazing, the clicks were perfect.
Now after 1,5 month heavy usage (4h gaming per day), the mouse-wheel is kind of lose, its movingto the left, so you can push it.. but the monir issue is the left mouse button!:
It is now moveable to left and right side about ~1-2mm. so you can feel it while you game.. the product quality is a dissapointment after that short time!
Now comes the funny stuff:
I have written the support, because they have put the wrong mouse skates (the big ones) in the package, they are not high enough, for contacting the mousepad!!!
I asked Glorious for an instant delivery of matching skates, they didnt do it, they wanted to have a "proof". The funny thing is, they could have easily test it by themself.. So i asked my retailer for a pair of the big skates, and YOU KNOW WHAT?! still different hights!!!!
So when i buy a mouse for over 55€, i want some basic quality in the product and with the customer support.. both failed!
I orderd a new one, maybe i got a bad production. I will keep you up to date, if the post wont be deleted!
After having this mouse for over a month now, here are my thoughts on the D. Very nice mouse overall. Comfortable mouse with great stock skates, nice crispy clicks. The cable could be softer and more flexible though. I personally think the boxing of the way they put the cable all tied up leaves to many bends on the cable, it would be better to just simply wrap the cable around the inside of the box much like Logitech and Roccat does which would eliminate most of the bends and kinks. The LED rgb strips on the sides, especially the left side seems like they cheapened it in comparison to the model O. They just don’t look as fluid and nice as the O, you can see brighter spots on the strip. Kind of reminds me of the rgb lights on the G Wolves Skoll. I think they need to go back and redo those honestly. Perhaps also giving the scroll wheel a little more tension kinda like the Titan scroll wheel from Roccat. The side buttons could use a little more tension as well, but they are certainly not horrible at all. An extra full set of skates in the box would also be a very nice gesture as well. Great mouse that could use a few more tweaks to make it what it should be. Hopefully the next model, The Model I will have all that. I also think the manufacturer in China needs to pick up the QC a bit as well. I see some light leaks from the right side and also the backside, Could be better. I would also like to suggest that Glorious start including a skate ring that goes around the sensor instead of the extra big optional skates that are not even height corrected. I know Glorious is still learning, but customer feedback is extremely important and I believe they do listen to us. I give the D 4 stars because it needs some tweaking to be a 5 star mouse, it’s almost there though. Simple fixes can get it there with ease. Great company and very nice mouse overall.
The Model D is absolutely phenomenal. It is light and responsive, impressively resilient. A masterwork. I cannot find one single thing to complain about. Cheap and perfect. You cant do better. BUY IT... BUY IT NOW.
Overall, I highly recommend this mouse, it is a fantastic product.
I have 2 minor issues with it, when I say minor I mean minor. The first is the scroll wheel; when scrolling up, it is not as smooth as scrolling down. Added on to that, when scrolling up it makes a slight scratchy sound as if it is getting caught on something. - problem is not noticeable when gaming/wearing headphones however.
The second issue is that of the LED on the mouse. On the right side it is perfectly fine and smooth, but on the left side it is quite patchy with increases and decreases in brightness. Furthermore, the LED above the two side buttons is dimmer than the rest and sometimes displays the wrong colour than it should be, but it is rectified by pressing both buttons down. Again, this problem is not noticeable when actually using the mouse and not focusing on it.
NONE of the described issues affect performance, just me being padantic.
This mouse is honestly the best one - and cheapest - I've tried. Thanks a lot for this great product.
