Great mouse at a great price point, the cable is super flexible and lightweight, mouse feels super solid. This is my second glorious mouse (first being model O) and I have zero complaints. Overall love glorious mice.
the overall feel of of the mouse is cheap, when i shake it the scroll wheel rattles and when i press down on the bottom there is a clicking noise that is not from the mouse buttons. the post travel on this mouse is very crappy and makes screeching noises.
i give this mouse a 1/5 but glorious removes my review if i make it 1 star so i put 3 star
i got the model d in black and in white and both of them have a very crappy left click and both screech on post travel
I'm going to start with the cons.
-Side buttons feel cheap
-MWheel isn't so smooth and feels like a tire. also doesn't click left or right unfortunately.
-Left and Right mouse buttons move left and right which are off-putting. should only be up down.
-Software doesn't allow as much customization as I prefer. Need more speeds for LEDs and the option to make custom patterns, not just edit pre-sets.
-USB does not go in smoothly. I thought I was inserting the wrong way but it's just choppy. also doesn't go in all the way.
-Does glide extremely well but it would be great if feet were on the sensor as well
-Packaging is done extremely well
-A lot of the cons from the initial release have been fixed
I came from the razer naga trinity (120g) and this is my second day using it. My aim has improved exponentially and I no longer have wrist pains. If I knew what I did prior to purchasing this mouse, i'd still purchase it.
I highly recommend the Model D. Previously I had used the EC2-A from Zowie and this mouse is a direct upgrade from that. While it has a similar shape, it has a superior cable, mouse wheel, sensor, buttons, and lighter weight, all with very good lifetime switches as well according to their specs. I've only had it for a week and I can really feel the improvements. If anything awry happens I'll try to update this review but so far it feels sturdy and robust.
*** WARNING TO ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF USA ***: Do not pay extra for delivery, get the cheapest option, it does not arrive faster, it seems to only hit you with customs fees.
Ordered the Model D + 3XL Pad bundle on March 12th and received March 20th(8 days) via "Globalmail Parcel Direct (3-10 days + full tracking)" the USA to Canada.
The mouse and pad came in a white on outside and black on the inside bag, with no extra padding or protection. The boxes of the mouse and pad were dinged up but the products inside were unaffected. However, still worth noting that Glorious's packaging is not great especially for customers who live outside the USA since the product will end up moving around a lot more and have higher risk of being damaged.
The customs fees screw you over, I paid $47.55 CAD (Customs FEE) + $34.61 CAD (Shipping) for a whopping total of $82.16 just to have to go to the post office to pick it up! The total price of the product without shipping and with taxes included cost: $138.69 CAD. I paid for "Globalmail Parcel Direct", the shipping option with full tracking, I've heard from multiple sources if you just pay for the cheapest delivery option you don't get custom fees. This is my second and last time I'm buying from Glorious website or if at all ever again until they sort this problem out, the first time I just bought a mouse which only was about $15 CAD in custom fees but my jaw dropped seeing the $47.55 CAD fee on pickup. Besides the shipping, the mouse and pad feel really great. I'm not happy at all about the shipping which has tainted my overall experience with Glorious as a company. Before you say oh well it's to be expected to pay customs fees blah blah blah, how come there are customers who just opt-in to pay for the standard delivery option and don't end up getting slammed with fees? That $50 could've been spent on another mouse or product from glorious.
Suggestion for you Glorious is to remove the extra DHL option and just have the basic plan for all customers who live outside of the USA, or ultimately get a better shipping provider with transparent fees upfront.
Overall I'm not happy.
