Hot Swappable Technology
Trying out different switches, replacing old ones, and matching several types of mechanical keyboard switches used to be difficult and required advanced technical skill. The patent pending Glorious Modular Mechanical Keyboard (GMMK) is the world’s first mechanical keyboard featuring hot-swappable switches for Cherry, Gateron, and Kailh branded switches.
Ever wonder what Gateron Blues felt like? Or what is the craze behind the Cherry MX clears? Want to use Gateron Reds for your WASD, but Gateron Blacks for all your other keys? With the GMMK, you no longer have to purchase an entire new keyboard, or disassemble and solder your switches – you can simply pop out the switch just like a keycap, and mix/match to test out and use any combination of switches you desire.
Armed with a glorious sandblasted aluminum face plate, 100% anti-ghosting (full NRKO), LED back lighting (several modes), modular switches, double shot injection keycaps, and minimalistic design - The GMMK is revolutionizing the mechanical keyboard market, giving users full control without needing any technical experience.
This is the last keyboard you will ever need to buy.
1 year limited Manufacturer Warranty
The GMMK is designed to work the following switch brands: Cherry, Gateron, Kailh. We currently sell Gateron and Kailh GMMK-compatible switches on our website.
Although other brands of switches besides Cherry/Gateron/Kailh will fit, they may be loose or have a tighter fit than normal.
There are several types of Cherry/Gateron/Kailh switches available. These are the specific requirements for the type of switches that are compatible

Just got this keyboard in. Feels pretty nice for the price.
If you want to try hot swap out and get a decent board without breaking the bank for the time being, this is the way to go. If you already know which switches you like, then I would find a pre-built from the likes of Durgod, Ducky, etc., assuming they have the switches you want, etc, or go custom if you're up for waiting and can afford it.
Personally, unless you like the ABS double shot keycaps that Glorious provides, I would wait until this version comes out in barebones. Keycaps are a bit too smooth for my personal preference, which makes it feel a bit cheap. I put some Tai-Hao key caps on there.
* Hot swap switches (probably the main reason you bought this)
* Stabs are better than main stream mass produced gaming keyboard brands, like Logitech
* Minimal ping
* Decent price
* Double shot ABS key caps (vs laser engraved or printed) - and decently thick, compared to mainstream ABS key caps from the likes of Logitech
* Lots of RGB lighting options
* Nice white braided cable
* All RGB options can be controlled from the keyboard - no software needed
* Dull RGB lighting compared to other boards, including mainstream brands
* ABS key caps instead of PBT key caps
* A bit of ping (metallic resonance)
* Non-removable cable on the full-size board
* What feels like a rather thin aluminum top plate
* Lightweight compared to other boards, like Durgod, or even the Logitech G710+
Just got this board and absolutely love it.. Feels rock solid and very customizable along with my white model my Desktop looks awesome.
I ordered this in the tenkeyless. First impression when I opened the box was good quality. Sturdy built and I was very happy to see it was USB-C. So I'll be able to use a coiled cord later on and easily move my keyboard in and out depending on what I need. The software didn't come in the 2020 version, though. So I downloaded and am using the latest version and its easy to use and no issues. Typing feels good and I spent all last night gaming on it to test it out. I am coming from MX cherry sliver switches so it will take some time to get used to these, but I may buy some switches to personalize it. That's the biggest draw for me on this board. I can have the WASD switches be different from the rest of the keyboard, essentially making it my own. This is a great thing since building my own keyboard would be a lot of time and money. I love the look ant the white ice fits the theme of my setup. So I've gone on and on on this review because I really have enjoyed typing on it. I don't have downside to it as of now. I hope it stays that way.
I was very excited to purchase this full size keyboard for work as well as gaming only to find out it's so bent that it doesn't stay on my desk without it easily moving around. Please get into contact with me considering i'm very disappointed.
